WTB: Octopus nw-110 Skimmer

Thats a big skimmer... u got something bigger planned than ur 29?? Aquacave does have them for 180

Gus said that some RC members were able to get them for under $100 (but I was seeing the same prices you are). Im looking to upgrade the skimmer bc I going to drill the 29g :cough::cough:: dont you have a cutting set? lol) and then put either a 10g or 20g sump in the stand. So looking for something to do 50gal worth. Even though its alil overkill, Gus said they're great.

Oh and the OTHER reason for getting a bigger skimmer is so that I can switch another FW tank over to SW (FWLR) and get my flame angel, etc :fish1: :fish2:
....Then save of the funds / slowly accumulate the equipment to switch the 100GAL over :lol2:

You should post a thread looking for a skimmer.. Getting a Octopus skimmer around $100 new will be hard to get right now. You should be able to get a o.k. skimmer around $100

Contact the person in link, he might still have it and a good skimmer in IMO

ya, or i'll have my excalibur skimmer up for sale in a week or earlier.I'll let it go to ya cheap. u might just wanna do a venturi style mod on the rio so it gets more air into the skimmer. it does ok on my 75gal reef but i'll be picking up a ASM G2 skimmer today or tomorrow so i can overskim since my dad likes so many fish in the tank...

I Def would be interested Now just drive back to Iowa to get that cutting kit and drill my tank too
