I have been checking all the LFS up my way ( roseville / rocklin ) and NO ONE HAS THEM !!! After going over to funman1's house I relized this is the fish i wanted for a sand sifter.

So far the places I have hit :

YourReef
AquaLife
Pet Connection
Fish Planet

If anyone has a line on one or has one they would like to part with please let me know.

Also seems that Mandarin Dragonet - Green are in short supply as well and was going to be wifes V Day present but no one has them . She wants the one with lines not spots.

Yah I am working on a removable screen to go over the tank right now to prevent this as I read this from numerous is sources. Might be easier to use a light difuser panel If i can find it at the right price. I need about 3x5 sheet.

They sell those are Lowes right ?

OH yah , i did pick one up today , was an orange diamond but from what Matt was telling me ( thnx for the tip troy ) this one will do just fine. Brown and white with like tiger stripes and the cool little neon line up front , would take pics but he is hiding.

As a bonus to those that read this they have a bunch of Clams Coricea for 26.99 REALLLY deep blue almost purple color. It is starting to open up now. Just make sure they dont charge you 29.99 like they did me. I know it is only 3 bucks but that was 3lbs of sand I could pick up :(

It'll prolly take a few weeks to get to know everyone in the tank and feel safe enough to come out.

Make sure your rock work is SECURE.

I got a diamond goby from Yourreef a week ago and he's doing a real good job excavating my sand bed and rearranging stuff to his liking. My wife wanted "one of those fish where the sand comes out of their gills", well she got her wish :D
He is a neat fish though, even if he's a little obnoxious

That's an understatement with these fish
;)

I don't know why these aren't called engineer gobies.

Yah i am a bit worried he has been MIA for about 3 hours now. and I have made the tank escape resistant ( bad juju saying proof lol ) I DIY some light defusing panels the ones in the tanks like at your reef on the corals sit on. Just went through with a flash light but still not finding him.

Atleast the clam is half open already , it looks sooooo much better than it did at the shop and I liked it at the shop. Think Maxium except purple !

Scratch one goby , It wasnt there last night but he was on the support center brace this morning as dry as a saltine cracker. Not sure how it got past the light defuser but still pised about it. Considering it was a 20 dollar fish plus the 12 bucks in light defuser. Well suppose I can get my Orange Diamond now :(
