Sears has 3 stage RO systems that come with a holding tank, and faucet that can be used under your sink. You can use it for drinking water for the family to justify the cost. I think they have a nodel for $250- that comes with the 1st set of filters.

I have an extra one that I would be willing to sell. Its from www.purelyh2o.com. It's the Optima Professional model. They sell it for $199. It's your's for $80. You would just need to buy the 3 replacement filter set that they sell for $29 since I took those ou and used them in another one. The RO membrane should be fine on it since I only used it for less then 6 months.

i bought the coralife one from aquahut for $50. added the DI cansiter recently for like $40. got exactly what i was looking for for less than $100.

With your tank size, a 75 gpd system ought to work well.

Look for, among others:
pressure gauge
aluminum bracket
standard sized filters
vertical, refillable DI
DI bypass valve
high quality prefilters
high quality, name brand membrane
and a business that can offer support when you need it.

i'd say don't get the coralife one. i was tempted since its the cheapest. I've gone through 4 units. its not the cheapest and more. I've had a kent maxima for years and i'm happy w/ it.

I havwe the optima from purelyH20 that Chris (cdamiano) is selling, and am happy with it. Its been reliable for a year now. Hey Chris, selling any extra cartridges?
