Well, the time has come to move back to FL and after much though we have decided to keep the 180 and the livestock, which means that the fishies are taking a road trip!

I need two 100g Rubbermaid stock tanks for the move. Does anyone got one used for sale? Also, does anyone have dimensions for them? I want to make sure they will fit in the SUV.

Thanks!

Jack

They are 51Lx34Wx25H I think Michael Mvlk might have one extra, weather he want's to sell It or not ? Maybe he will chime In and let you know.

Thanks Bill!

I am planning on using one to transfer the rock/livestock. I will have a power converter in the car where i can run my controller just for temp control and My 2 TUNZE. Hopefully everything will make the 14hr drive.

platax88, Well I hate to see y'all leave, I'm sure there Is a good reason. Wish you the best of luck on the move and keep in touch on the board!! Those stock tank's are 74.99 new at tractor supply FYI.

Thanks Bill!

We are leaving because we are 6 months pregnant and suddenly realized how important it is to be close to family. We have absolutely noone here and i work remote out of FL. What really upsets me is the in-wall project i just completed. Oh well, I will do it all over again in the future.

I do have an extra 100. It has a slow leak, but with a little epoxy stick applied, it seems to be holding water fine. I just did not want to trust it for long term use. I think Wayne wanted to take it off my hands? If not and you want to give it a go we can work something out.

Good call! From experience, I can say not having family close with young ones is no fun! I am counting the days till my parents move down here from IL when the 'officially' retire in a year or so.

Mvlk, I had one develope a leak also! I talked to the company and they had a bad batch split out at the seams on the bottom near the bulkhead! Naturally I had one :( and didn't keep my reciept. Some tractor supplies will exchange them with no recipte if you go in with it FWIW but I didn't try.

I would offer mine for ya plax but its being patched and turned into a fish pond. That way if it leaks again it will only get the ground wet!! Good luck with the move and I totally think its awsome you are going home near family! I am alone here and its hard with no sitters you don't have to pay $10 an hour and to have help if mama is sick or any number of lifes curve balls. I do have some rubbermaids with lids you can have to keep if you need them. And a few broken down boxes from my recent move. Just LMK if you need them.

My leaky Rubbermaid was more of a ding near the bottom and not near a seem. Tractor Supply actually said they would exchange it, but I decided to pickup another. With a little epoxy stick, it seems fine. I will use it to hold my old tank water during Friday's move. After that I'll pass it on to Wayne as he requested it.
