wtb sailfin tang

Just keep in mind it will outgrow the tank you have, i started out with mine in a 75 and it ran out of room in a little over 2 yrs and forced the upgrade i am in now. Also i see a move from the 220 not too far down the road. They like to swim, mine would pace the tank in the 75. My .02

I knew that sailfins love to swim but i didn't know that they swam enough to need more than a 220 i know a guy who has had one in his 150 for years successfully. Cove is your tank 72in long?

Mine has been the fastest growing tang of all. And yes i have seen setups of 220gal where it looks like an overgrown fish.I personally dont like the look of a very large fish in a small tank. i know at some pt it will be too big for my 220gal setup

Ive had my red sea sailfin in a 180g. for 3years and havent seen much growth. my hippo and orange shoulder have grown alot. I think angels grow really fast. I believe most aquariums are too small for tangs in general.

They're definitely one of the big boys... that's for sure...

I personally like the Desjardini variety... man are they purdy!
