WTB: Sedra 5000 locally

Anyone know who carries Sedra-5000s locally (SF area)? I just tried Ocean Treasures but they are out of stock on the 5000s. I might just need an impeller but those are even harder to come buy, might just purchase the whole pump.

I don't really buy equipment at LFS (cost too much) so I don't really know. I know premiumaquatics sell them. thereefstop used to have them too. I don't know why they don't have it any more. Maybe you can email him and ask. They were selling them cheaper than PA.

I don't really think any LFS will sell you just the impeller. If they do they would have to order it online anyway.

Thanks Phong, I'll look into those. I agree that LFS is expensive, but I was just going with that route since that is the fastest option and I've been down a skimmer for over a week now.

If it takes awhile to get the pump, I'm tearing down my tank this weekend. I can let you borrow the pump until you get it.

Why don't you order an Ocean Runner online instead if you can wait? They are quieter and run less wattage for the flow. You can get one delivered by Tuesday for <$120.

hmm, I think the Ocean Runner would have been a good option. I gave my word to the guy at the LFS I wouldn't back out on him though.
