Im in the process of looking for a serpant sea star. I saw Aquatic tech had some listed on their website but its such a drive for me. Anyone been in there and seen any other these. Also I have heard that i should stay away from the green ones. Anything else i should consider before purchasing. Thanks.

I got one from A.T. a few weeks ago. Just beautiful. It's a smaller one, it's black and white.. Greg said it was one of the more pretty ones he's ever seen. Worth the drive. A must have for detitrus removal.

jurassic in richmond hts has them all the time. mines brownish purple its pretty cool looking. if you ask shawn there what kind are safe and not he will tell you

yeah, good luck...I have had one for about a year, now he is in my refuge...cause I finally figured out that mine has been ambushing my smaller fish at night (like watchman goby, cleaner wrasses, etc.) now that he is out...my tank has peace and harmony...good luck...sometimes they eat more than detrious.

I have a red one that's harmless. Will gladly accept frozen food or detritus. Arms start waving around everytime i feed the tank. Pretty common item I think. I saw linkia red and blue at AT. I don't recall serpents just call him.
