WTB: Skimmer and some questions.

Well, im all the way here in chicago, but some time during the summer i will be heading out to Lancaster PA to see family, Newark Delaware to see old friends, Washington D.C. to see my sister go off to college, and back to chicago. So if anyone around here is selling a skimmer, well it wouldnt hurt to let me know.

Also, what are some lfs you'd recommend to visit while out there?


Looking for a skimmer that will be used on a 65 gallon tank, in sump. Euro-reef rs-80 would be best but anything thats big and works would do really.

Euro-reef rs-80 or something of the sort
Octopus 110 recirculating or 150 non recirculating
ASM G 1-2 and everything in between
Tunze 9005 or bigger
AquaC EV-120 or 180
etc.

thanks for the offer but im not too interested in becket styles. Im more of a needlewheel guy. Plus i dont really want big pumps in my tank, too much heat. The EV-120 with a mag 5 is probably as much as id go.

I dont have a skimmer, but Id reccomend that fish place as mentioned above, Premuim aquatics in newark delaware, captain nemos out by king of prussia, exotic aquatics by baltimore and if you wanna go a few hrs south of DC check out atlantis in Ricmond.
all are top notch in my book. that fish place has some of the best dry good prices of anywhere I have ever been- bring an extra suitcase and stock up! might even be able to get a new skimmer there cheap- go to there website or give them a call and sign up for there rewards club- they send out 30% off coupons from there already cheap prices that can be used on wednesdays i think- you can get some bigger price items with that coupon for a steal
