Wtb Small $2.50 - $5 Frags...

Hey everyone... this thread is really more of a long shot...But im hoping i can get a jump start and begin to populate my tank with more corals since all i pretty much have are 3 small ones i have been given the "Go Ahead" from my girlfriend to only buy frags if they cost no more then $5 and no LFS around here sells that low
... SooOooOOoo... i figured since there was no specific amount of frags i could get... i would take this little loop hole and jump on it before she catches on to my plan

i know that $2.50 - $5 might hardly be worth you time... but helping out a guy in need of corals might im not looking for anything particular... im not picky... LPS, easy SPS... frags dont have to be big... just a little healthy with a small chance to live is fine...

im honestly not even expecting a response to this thread, but it would be great if someone has time to frag and chit chat about reef for a bit

BUT do they have $2.50 - $5.00 fragz? that is the question...

Coral Oasis has $10-$15 fragz
Fish & Coral has $12.50 fragz
Tongs has $10 fragz...
Pacific Reef (torrance) $5.00 Fragz ( but kinna far )
other reefers... $2.50 - $5.00 fragz ?

I sell all of my frags for 5 bucks unless they are really big, like small coloney size.

Unfortunatly I don't have any frags right now.

pacific reef has a store in FV, on brookhurst and garfield. haven't been in a while, so don't know if that one has $5 frags.

nope... $5 fragz are only in torrance... the pacific reef only has BROWN fragz for $20 and up :lol:
i only go there for livestock... not corals

i see here point... i have spent over $1,500 on my tank within the past month... her asking me to only spend no more then $5 fragz for awhile is no biggie to me. especially since all you have to do is clip a leather no bigger then the size of a nickel for $5

I was just at Pac Reef in Fountain Valley... they have a whole case of frags for 5 and 10 dollars. Check there.

$2.50 - $5.00 Frags?! Does that get you like 2mm of an acro? LOL

Anything I value under $5 dollars I would give away for free as I don't deal in bulk.

If you are interested in a small frag of a RED Monti Cap, I got one for $5 for ya or a pretty small pocilliporah frag I am located in South Pasadena right off the 5 and 110 freeways.

If you want to combine some of your $2.50 - $5 purchases into 1 or 2 corals, I have really nice mounted Devil Hand Leathers, some orange centered Zoos, pocilliporah frags, etc.

Some times if I buy a coral or fish, I pay half in cash and half on the card. Then the wife won't freak when she sees the statement. :bum:

after spending $1500 on your tank (i assume equipment) why not just a little more for nice sized/quality corals?
