Wtb sump/fuge

Looking to upgrade sumps to something with a little more room, but want to snag something used and local to cut some costs. It's for my 57g illuminata, so let me know what you got of if anyone sees anything worthwhile please let me know.

What are you using now? I have a 35g glass tank that is usable for a sump.

It's a little two chamber sump but there's no room for extra LR or pumps for reactors. I think I remember you offering up the 35g before. What are the dimensions again?

i think it is 30x12x18. its a little tall so if the inside of the stand is small it can make it a little hard to work around.

I did go to petco yesterday and the $1 per gallon sale is on so that is another option.

Hmm 29g might be perfect. Thanks guys.... But if anyone has a used sump I'm still interested. Is like to avoid making one if possible.

I want to build a sump too. But how tall should those bafflers be? How do to the calculation? I might need a 40g sump for my 90g tank.

Baffle height mostly depends on your skimmer, though many are happy in around 8" of water. Some say baffles are unnecessary. I made some for my sump. A key design element is allowing sufficient channel width through the baffles that current is not fast. Microbubbles won't rise up and out of fast moving water. They just keep tumbling along.
