WTB sump, skimmer

Does anyone have a sump that's no longer than 17", and no wider than 16"? Height not an issue. Preferably w/ spaces for sock/skimmer, refugium, and return pump? Also need a skimmer w/ footprint that fits in a sump that size, with at least a 55 gallon capacity...hopefully cheap. Not asking for too much, huh?

hi. i am currently upgrading our tank and will be getting a bigger sump. i have a 9 1/2 by 24. not sure if that would work for you or not. if so just email me and let me know....

I have a Sucoast 125 skimmer w/ pump for $70. The skimmer ran on a 75g for a year and a half so it should be good on a 55g.

That is a lot of stuff in a small space. Sorry I didn't get back to ya sooner. My sump may be a little too long. It's 20 x 10. An old W/D bio-ball that can easily (by me) be converted for a sock. There's room for a small skimmer, 10 x 9, but not much else.

Sounds like your trying to stuff 10 lbs. of stuff in a 5lb bag. If the sump fits your needs though Dear. You know it's yours.

At least 10 lbs in a 5 lb bag, as usual!

The sump is for a 30 gallon oceanic cube, and the inside measurements of the stand are only 16" x 17". I suppose we could try a HOB skimmer, but are there any that really work, 'cause the one we have on the QT is pretty lame...

I used to have a CPR Bakpk 2 that was allright. I heard the Remora was a better skimmer. Plus Tunze has a nano one that mounts inside the tank.

i have a c&c marine 125h for sale.
- Rated up to 125 gallons tanks, but will handle a heavily stocked 125 gallon tank with ease.
- Built in surface skimmer and micro bubble trap system that actually works and skims surface very well.
- Sicce psk-240 at 25 watts giving almost 30 scfh of air, at a flow of about 400gph, imagine about 820 liters of air per hour against 1300 liters of water per hour.
- Fit up to 2 inch tank rim(Eurobrace).

8 inch Tall
13 inch wide, this is also 13inch wide inside the tank for overflow box.
Needs 4 inch clearance behind your tank.

Features
• Overflow Protection / Cup Drain
• 1/2 inch Body Drain, when you want to drain water and clean skimmer.
• Built in surface skimmer
• Turbulence/Bubble diffuser
• Low power consumption only 25 watts
i paid 5 months ago 400. looking to get 200

Probably don't need that skimmer for a 30, although it would always be a good idea to go bigger...great price, but we can't do that much right now, thanks though!
