WTB/WTT Wireless Bridge/Access Point

I recently bought a Linksys/Cisco WRT160N Wireless N Router thinking I could use it with my current router as a bridge/access point for my Aquacontroller. WRONG!

So now I still need a bridge or access point I can use. Anybody have one they wanna sell/trade or at least know of a good place to get one cheap? LMK.

Joel,

Is your wireless router anywhere close to your Aquacontroller? Can you run an ethernet cable from your router to the wireless N router?

If you need help, give me a holler. I know a little bit about networking. :P

I'm using dd-wrt on a second Linksys router of mine as a bridge for my ACIII, Xbox360 and Directv HD+ OnDemand. The main router is upstairs and the bridge is downstairs. Just find out which models are flashable and follow the instructions.

Nope. My router is in the other room across the hall. The controller is in equipment/laundry room.

Yep...that was the idea when I bought it. But apparently this model is like the only one that can't use DD-WRT reflashes. Go figure!

So if anyone has an old crusty Linksys laying around (or even in use) and would like to upgrade to a brand new Linksys that has the latest and fastest N standard technology...here is your chance! I don't care if what I get is fast. My main router is already fast. But if you are just using your router as a normal router then this would be an improvement for you. A trade could prove good for everybody.

This one here is the one I have. It's brand new and has only come out the box long enough to find out it wasn't able to be configured as a bridge.
