They only have 400000 units to sell and you won't see any forsale until March.. I heard on the radio that one of the walmart has only 10 units and there were 50 people wanted it. People selling it on ebay 3-4 times the retail price. It's crazy. I should take a day off and stand in line at Best Buys to get couple units and sell it on ebay.

Oh yeah, I have a ps2 if you want to trade for 1/2 of that colony :lol:

3-4 times retail is the low end people are selling them for. Have you checked Craigslist this morning?

It looks like a cool system and all but 4-5 grand for it is insane.

And we complain about marketing strategies in coral farming.

People were auctioning off there reciepts for their PS3's for $1700... they're insane.. that's a used car.....

plus why get a 1st gen. which might have bugs in it. If you could just wait next year for more releases and lower price due to competion with the Nintendo WII and Lowered priced XBOX360.... DUH PEOPLE..... heheheh

im a big gamer and i think the ps3 will be the first system failure for sony here in the states..the lack of units at launch was to stir hype[trust me],but the problem now is gamers will get frustrated at the lack of systems,the lack of a aaa title etc[like gears of war]..this will stear gamers towards the xbox360,which quite honestly is a better gaming machine...the lack of memory on the ps3 is really bad decision on sonys part....instead they focused on blue ray,and it will either fail or marginally succed,but i expect a minidisc fate.the hddvd drive is awesome,but gamers want a gaming machine,while casual gamers will like the built in hddvd...with the xbox360 finally available and games like gears of war out,it will be a tough fight for sony here in the u.s...the 600 dollar price tag is a baddddd decision...it all comes down to the games,and sony at launch has one original game entitled resistance...there other games are mostly cross platform games that dont look quite as good as there 360 counterparts...once the hype dies,so does the ps3[here in the states that is]

Actually I am a gamer too. But I am a loyal fan of PS. and a huge player of KILLZONE which IMO is a better game than HALO. KILLZONE 2 for the PS3 is SICK... I have also seen the GOW and it is all sick.

I like both for their signature games. Each has their own quality. Sony seems to have an edge because of it's enormous library, but you have to wonder how much the backward compatibility issues will effect PS3 this time around.

killzone better than halo..?....first ive heard of that...though its your opinion....i played killzone and thought it was ok...bad ai,unbalanced weapons,linear levels...boring....halo,on the other hand is considered one of the best fps of all time,if not the very best..the online game in halo2 is grounbreaking and sadly addicting....killzone 2,who knows how it will turn out...all we saw was cgi of the game[no actual footage].plus the first killzone was only average at best....we know halo3 will define the genre,and will probably go down as the best fps of all time...we shall see....
