im a big gamer and i think the ps3 will be the first system failure for sony here in the states..the lack of units at launch was to stir hype[trust me],but the problem now is gamers will get frustrated at the lack of systems, the lack of a aaa title etc[like gears of war]..this will stear gamers towards the xbox360,which quite honestly is a better gaming machine...the lack of memory on the ps3 is really bad decision on sonys part....instead they focused on blue ray,and it will either fail or marginally succed, but i expect a minidisc fate.the hddvd drive is awesome, but gamers want a gaming machine, while casual gamers will like the built in hddvd...with the xbox360 finally available and games like gears of war out,it will be a tough fight for sony here in the u.s...the 600 dollar price tag is a baddddd decision...it all comes down to the games, and sony at launch has one original game entitled resistance...there other games are mostly cross platform games that dont look quite as good as there 360 counterparts...once the hype dies,so does the ps3[here in the states that is]
