I dunno agree! mine does remarkably well inmy sps setup and the soker spreads like wildfire tha's why its at the top and corners and that's itIME, xenia are sensitive to alkalinity and do not do so well in a severely nutrient poor environment like a pristine SPS reef

I have been fighting to get rid of xenia in my tank. It will not quit growing. I keep mine cornered off by a frogspawn. I have given away god knows how many frags of it and it will not stop growing. I have ripped pieces off the rock only to have it regrow. I know now why they call it the weed of the ocean. I recently converted to sps so I cant have those stray pieces laying around. They would even grow over my zoas. The only things that will stop it are anemones and euphylia.
