Xenia flow requirements

Hi, I bought a Xenia soft coral a couple weeks ago and although I've researched i am getting a lot of conflicting information on how much flow they should be placed in. Some say low-med, and others say med-high. Can someone with some experience of these give me a little advice please?
Thank you

Xenia has never really been a very demanding coral when it comes down to flow IME, but if I had to chose I would go with medium flow. Just enough to kind of sway the coral back and forth on a somewhat regular basis. GL.

I would say medium low, I have pulsing xenia and when I turn off the power heads they lay right down, the returns are not enough flow to keep them upright, they will let you know when they have enough or to much by retracting in, I also have kenya trees, that are in high and low and do fine in either.

don't overthink the keeping of xenia. Very simple to keep. After a while you'll regret the purchase. They take over the tank.

Medium low flow. As said above, too much and they lose their pulsing effect.

As far as them spreading, yes they can. I have mine on a very tall and skinny rock separate from everything else in the tank. I call it, "Xenia Island". I have had them for over a year and have had no problem with them getting off the Island.........yet.

Mine get medium to low flow and they move just enough to keep them extended. I don't know why you would regret adding them as they add movement.
