xenia - how will it do in fuge 24/7 lighting?

I am going to do some aranging of LR that I recently bought from another reefer. It had a lot of pumping xenia and anthelia on it which I have removed since it is not going to work with my plans. I tossed the smaller chunks onto the pile of rubble in my fuge, which is lit 24/7. Will they do OK there? I read that they are primarily photosynthetic?

I'm sure it will grow like something wild. In the fuge, like that, one could use xenia as nutrient export. The uptake of excess nutrients in xenia is pretty phenomenal, from what I've read.

corals need a rest period. i doubt they will last long under 24/7 lighting.
