XM Bulb Label

I bought a used XM 250 watt single ended bulb from someone. I thought there was usually a label on the base of the bulb showing brand and rating. Is this not the case for XM?

I got a new 250 10k XM there was a stamped black writing in the glass but it rubbed off when I put the bulb in.Is there any thing on the base bottom writing the old blue line I have has writing on it to show what is is.

No there is nothing and the bottom section of the glass is dark black. No writing though. I hope I got an XM.

Some of mine do, some of mine don't... Not sure there is any way to tell if there is nothing on it.

The thing is that is important is the bulb doing , looking ok as to light out put to your liking. And the person you got it from you trust. Then I would not think about any more and enjoy the tank.

I'm not worried I guess. The guy told me it was an XM.
