XM metal halide bulb - current outer orbit HQI compatibility

Hi,

Does anyone use the XM 150 watt metal halide bulb in a current outer orbit HQI light fixture? I read something that said te XMs would not work with some ballasts. I bought a used current outer orbit light HQI and want to get a new bulb. I want a 10000K and have been looking at the XM and Ushio bulbs, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
