Y did lfs sell me c balance?

Hey guys I just asked my LFS opinion on reef energy a and b. And they seem to steer me away and go for c balance. I'm pretty confident it's a good product but get home and read bottles it seems it more for keep alk and calcuium balance. I already had something for that. Am I missing something here? Also any opinions and input on reef energy are welcome. Thx guys.

I don't use the product. Never heard of it. I use Kent Turbo Calcium, Kent dkh Alkalinity Buffer, and Kent Tech M (magnesium.) ---for what it's worth.

Maybe they were confused or you didn't explain your needs properly? Both products have a A and B component and are supplements but they are quite different in function.
C Balance being for Alk and Cal and trace elements.
And reef energy is for carbs, vitamins, and amino acids.

Yeah I didn't really explain any needs.lol. my quote. "How's that reef energy a and b ? Any good? They said c balance is better and took me over and sold me half the quantity for 5 dollars more than I could got double amount on amazon. Lol.I just assumed it was more like a reef energy product but I don't even think they r close. I shouldn't have "***" u "me"

Answered your own question there, didn't you? I learned a long time ago; the only thing I buy from LFS is living things and emergency supplies. Everything else gets researched and bought from the Internet.

Yup u are correct briankc, although I did get the coral pro salt actually a little cheaper there than on line.that was my whole reason for my trip to LFS.I was prepared to pay more for the salt but I didn't. Go figure.lesson learned do research on everything before purchase.it's just odd. Like I asked about buying a car and they sold me a dog. Lol.
