Yaki Noli Roasted Seaweed OK For Tangs?

Hey all, I just picked up a package of Yaki Noli Roasted Seaweed from my local HyVee store. 10 sheets for $3, it's used for sushi. I'm just wondering if this is the right stuff to be feeding my Tangs? I didn't want to spend $8 at the LFS for the same thing so I was just wanting some input before i put it in the tank.

Also, as far as storing it once it's open, should I freeze it or just refrigerate it? Or maybe just leave it out?

Thanks for the feedback in advance :)

As long as it's just plain roasted and nothing else added like other 'flavoring/oil', you should be fine.

I've been feeding 'roasted' nori for about 4 years now with no issue and save bunch of money compared to the LFS brand.

Usually they come with some drying agent packet to protect from moisture. I keep mines in a ziplock bag at room temp to prevent the seaweed from absorbing more moisture from the air.

Yep thats the stuff. I take mine out of the bag it comes in and put it in a large ziploc along with the drying agent packet.

The Hyvee near my house recently stopped carrying that brand and switched to one that costs about $8/pack for the same amount. I'm using stuff from an asian food market now.
