Yellow Acro with Blue Polyps

Keep your eyes out with the people that sell ORA frags . It will come in under assorted and will not have a name. It has been almost a year so it may pop up soon in a few places. It is a very slow grower about 10 slower than ORA tort or Bennet yelllow. I have only been able to get 2 frags in the last year from mine.

Agree my ORA purple bottle brush is over a year old and still a single branch with some lil ones coming off it . Same with PM . I got snails that grow quicker

Here is mine a year ago

the lfs guy said it was a fast grower, he had a big colony, and october sounds about right.

I almost didn't see it in his tank, in the back and not the best lit position, but as soon as i saw all the polyps were purple, i knew it was the one in your avatar. i had already paid for some zoas, but he offered to cut me a frag for a great price; he's got some great corals, including the purple bottlebrush, a large colony of that which he plans to frag up in a few months. im on that list.

twon8 what part of Va are you from. I was there last year on vacation visiting my gf and we went around lfs but did not find much. I myight be visiting again sometime in feb or mar. Any good placed to visit

Here is a better shot of the one I previously posted. It's more of a creamy yellow, than yellow. We have named it banana barney. :)
