Yellow Acro with Blue Polyps

Here's one I stumbled across at the LFS the other day. Not ready for fragging yet, but I think it's a nice piece.

A. tenuis - yellow w/blue tips

Chris - the coral that I saw that looked like yours was from the KZ (zeovit) growout tanks. Some of the ones at the top of this page look pretty similar. Its one of my favorite corals and I'm glad you're my neighbor.

here it is a few weeks later, colored up and encrusting, as you can see.
i got a bit closer than i wanted with the macro, but you can see the new growth over the super glue.

and here in amongst the group.

hey is this similar? I guess a little more green and also has darker polyps... almost maroon.
I had a really tough time getting a pic of it that was worthwile....

it is way back in my tank.

There will be one frag from my colony that makes it to ebay but it won't be me who sells it . It will be offered once and thats it after that its reservations only through that seller.

I have a LARGE colony of an acro that I'm pretty sure is identical to the one you posted on page 2 (as a pic that Reeflections sent you). I believe I got it as a frag at the last Louisville MACNA (3 years ago?).

This is also the colony that Jjackson has a piece from. I'll try to get a decent picture in the next few days.

I agree the one reefflections has is different. His and the one I have came from the same guy. It has nice dark purple polyps. And is yellow with no green that I can see.

Not disagreeing there - it is a different acro. Has a different growth form and I don't think the colors are the same. The one I have is also a tabling acro.
