I have a month and a half old 80 gallon marine set up with a juvenile yellow and blue tang. The tank has 40lbs of live rock and a 3 inch deep layer of crushed coral substrate. I have 216 watts of T5 lighting for my frogspawn frag. The filter is a wet-dry and is meant for a 150 gallon and has a built in skimmer and HOB overflow. So far all has been good and I'm feeding my tangs algae mixed brine shrimp and algae tablets. Both of my fish are eating heartily.
The tank is always between 78 and 79 degrees and the salinity is kept at 1.024. Nitrates and ammonia are both at zero.
I have been told my tank was large enough for these fish by the Lfs and Aquarium Domain, however I would like to have a second opinion on my setup for kicks and giggles.
