Im planning to buy this yellow anemone (see pics below) and Im looking for your advises if there is anything I should know, I have do some research but really could not find a lot of info about yellow anemone.
That's a dyed H. crispa. Sometimes they will recover their zooxanthellae and return to a normal, healthy brownish gray color. Personally, I would comment to the shop owner that buying these dyed anemones just encourages this inappropriate practice.
I've heard of people dying nems but this is the first time I've actually seen one. I thought it was crazy when they were dying and tattooing mollies and other fw fish.
Like others said don't buy it, if it does survive it won't look anything like that.
If you want a yellow nem try looking for a lemon drop BTA but be prepared to pay a high price tag for it.
Looks like he's in China, more likely to find a wild or maybe even a yellow tipped mag. Doubt there's any lemon drops in China, maybe from a different lineage/name.
