I was given some questionable information from a local LFS, and would like to ask some reefers that have had more experience with the fish your opinion.
All of the ORA Yellow A. that I have seen are mustard color. I am yet to talk or hear of any of them changing into the bright yellow that you see on wild caught specimens.
My own personal preference is that I like the bright yellow of the wild caught specimens. My LFS can get wild caught Aussie YAs.
He told me that he prefers getting in the juvinile wild caught YAs. He also mentioned that they are not the bright yellow of the adult wild caught. He also said that only the males juvis change to the bright yellow (which does not sound right since there is not supposed to be any difference between the sexes).
My question is if juvis are not bright yellow do they change as they mature in captivity?
