So I got this beautiful fish two weeks ago. It's fat, active and always out in the open. Eats pellets like no other fish I have but won't touch any of the frozen I put in. I soak it in garlic and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Send him to me! Have you tried not feeding pellets for a day or two? Sounds like you have a great fish am just might need some time. Where did you get it from.

Yeah I didn't put pellets in for 2 days and it decided to take out a beautiful small bowerbanki frag today!

I have one too! Only eats pellets and here I am trying to give fresh oyster and clams. Doesn't touch nori either.

Anyway, guess it's a good problem. I was expecting a struggle.

Well, if an aquatic critters won't eat what you want them to, try soaking the food in fresh ginger root before plopping it in the tank. I can say that all freshwater critters love ginger.

I had a Chrysurus juvenile to adult hood that only ate pellets. The only angelfish I ever owned that would not eat frozen, I guess in some way fish are just like people with different taste?
