Yellow Candy Hog Fish

Here are a few pictures of my new addition Yellow Candy Hog Fish that I got from DD last Tuesday :dance:

I've also not seen anymore aggression from the McCosker's wrasse towards the Hog Fish since Saturday. Everyone is getting along very well now. No aggression at all from the Yellow Candy Hog Fish.

Nice Dave. I really like mine. After the first few days I have not seen any aggression from my wrasses or the hogfish either.

Tony, when did you get yours?

I'm going to try and get a bunch of pictures up on my thread in the LPS section called New Additions today, maybe some before I leave for my Dr apt and some when I get back. I've got hundreds of pictures and plan on posting up at least half of them. Lots of coral pics and several fish pictures as well.

I didn't have any issues with the wrasses going at the my peppermint, but as the my peppermint got established he became aggressive to the wrasses.

Yes he really is, I'm glad I got him. He sure is eating like a pig now :lmao: I guess he's not use to having Mysis shrimp fed to him 2x a day He gobbles them up like it's his last meal.

He's actually much more colorful than those pictures, IF I can get the color working better with my camera I will add more pictures. I've got the same problem with all of my coral pictures. Here you can see my thread, it's called New Additions in the LFS forum.

Do you have any shrimp in your tank? I've also been eyeballing these on DD for my 40 breeder but I fear for my cleaner shrimp.

I've had a Yellow Candy Hogfish for over a year. First in my 28g nano, and now in my big tank after I tore down the nano. He never bothered 2 peppermints in the tank, and I have 2 cleaners and 5 peppermints in the big tank, and he's never bothered them either.
