Yellow coral goby (Gobiodon okinawae) group, pair or solo.

Hello, I am considering adding G. okinawae to my 29g tank (30" long). I currently have a rainford's goby and am considering adding a starry blenny (Salarias ramosus) or a gramma/Liopropoma (maybe both a basslet and blenny).

I am wondering if the yellow coral goby would do best in a small group of 2-3 individuals (maybe a few more) and would my current ideas for stock agree with the coral goby or vice versa?

Everything I've read says clown gobies are fiercely territorial and will fight any other clown goby within what they consider to be their territory. I have a 150g and while I'd love to have one of each colour (they're one of my all-time favourite fish), I bought a single clown goby because I just don't have any idea how much area they typically claim and didn't want to risk fights or stress between the fish.

TLDR; they fight, so a single clown goby is safest.

The clown gobys like to live inside Acros. I have had all the different colors together without issue as long as they each have their own colony to live in.

However, when you get two of the same color they like to pair up. Then when they do they make a nest, and what that means is they go to the center of your favorite SPS colony and rip out the flesh to make a nest...

So single is safest.
