Just picked one up on Friday and got him into the QT. He hid almost immediately after getting in the tank (dont blame him as the LFS guy chased him for what seemed to be an eternity!) . Friday night he was out a bit but not more then a minute or two. Saturday he was out before lights on and then not see again. Today, Sunday, I haven't seen him yet. I know he's buried in the sand and im not too worried about him as he eat like a pig Friday before i bought him.
What's the normal time these guys take to get used to their new digs? Anything I can do to help coax him out? I've only dropped in a pellet or two of food as I dont see him and dont want it fouling the water. He's surely a small little guy so I can understand the timidness. Probably between 3/4"-1". Ill have to snap a couple pic's when he starts coming out more.
