Yellow Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish

I thought i would share my most recent purchase. Picked him up this weekend, he is roughly 4-5". Enjoy the pics and post your pics if you have a yellow lionfish too.

got him for $79. Kinda expensive for a fuzzy, but i live in downtown chicago, so i have to pay more.

Fmarini - yeah they hang out toghter alot sometimes i think the male is tring to court the female.
-No. the are still on live shrimp, any tips or tricks to help switch over to frozen
-Yes.that is a zebra in the background

BTW...how do you know mine is a male. O know you count the stripes, but is it the ones on the body or the fins. Because by looking at the pics its seems that both our yellows hav the same number of body stripes and supposedly mine is a male and yours a female.

You tell by the stripes on the pectoral fins- not the body.

lionfish is doing well...as i hear he eats like a horse. He eats everything...live,frozen, even nori. Anyway just thought I'd update. keep posting those lionfish photos

I wanted to know what everyone is feeding there lionfish in order to maintain a "balanced" diet? He eats everything so i wanted to know what wold be best for him. I must admit I like to watch him devour ghost shrimp, but this is only a treat not a dietary staple.
