I am moving. Sold our house after we spent all those energy building it, but the price was right. I even have a full fish room with it's own air conditioning, sink, room for multiple support equipments, RO water line form RO unit in the garage, and three separate dedicated circuit, all outlet with individual GFI and switched for each outlet. The new owner who are not reefer but want to keep the aquarium (240 g Starfire). He will get quotes for someone set it up for him. Too bad I did not have a chance to use it after all those planning.
We have another house under contract, another fixer-upper. That seem to be the story of our life, This will be our 6th house since 1991. I will but another fish room there also. This time I am going to add plenty of natural light like a huge sky light right over the aquarium, and a chiller to keep the temperature of the aquarium constant under the Texas high noon.

Anyway, I took my small tank at home down and took it to a friend LFS. He mainly sell high end coral over the internet ( GCreef.com ). He will keep it for me until I move to my new old house.
It took me all of 2 hr to move the tank and set it up again. When the time come to set the tank up again, I will use a larger tank with overflow and sump (already bought it). I will keep both H. magnifica in the same tank. The red and yellow color would give wonderful contrast. Picture to come once I set it up.

Congrats on the home sale! Buying/Selling homes can be emotionally draining - let alone dealing with all the tank set ups. Good to hear all is well - and fixer-uppers are not always a bad thing!

Looking forward to your future posts/tank.

I have a Cannon Rebel for the last 5 years. I used Cannon camera since 1980.

AThey are at GCreef.com a LFS and internet store here in Corpus. I am getting them home this weekend.
The Mandarin is fat and the anemone is OK but need a larger tank which he will get shortly. I am setting up a 30X30X25 for him and my purple magnifica. AThe main pump from Premium Aquatics will arrive tomorrow then the salt water get circulate. . Reuse the sand and rock plus more cured rock and fresh sand. They will go into that thank maybe in 2-3 weeks

I finally set up may cube aquarium and moved the Yellow Magnifica and my Magenta base Magnifica into this tank last weekend. The tank still have minor outbreak of algae and diatom from newly move my old tank into it. I washed all the sand briefly in salt water to remove most of the cloudiness dirts. They really messed up the sand bed but things are going just fine now. The two anemones and 4 baby Onyx in it are doing just great (other than one of the smallest Onyx is getting abuse from the other three). He is using my T. crocea as a home right now. I will take a few pictures and post them over the weekend.
Now I will spend the time and set up my other cube aquarium with surge bucket for my S. gigantea. Hope to get this up in a few weeks, then I will move my Gigantea from my office tank back home.

Is this the same Mag. that faded the colors of your clowns?

Yes. The Yellow Mag cause the parents of the clown I have now faded a little. The 4 Onyx I have in the two Magnifica seem fine. Still fully black. One of the 4 was with the Yellow anemone for all his life (5 months) and the other three were with the Magenta all their life (3 months). All their life really mean after they started on dry flakes so I can put them into a reef tank.

Here are a few pictures of my anemones in their new home. The tank is still very new but all old sand and rock are from previous tanks. There were lots of fine dust that I washed off some in salt water. It see that I recovered most of the larger worms in the sand. I am sure that there are lots of mortality of the sand creatures, but this cannot be help. I do not have any herbivores in the tank right now other than Stomatella and Strobus snails which reproduced in the previous tank. Due to this reason, there are quite a lot algae in on the side of the tank, but not on the rock. I guess this is due to the fact that all the surface area on the rock is occupied by something living.
The anemones and the clowns are doing well. I also got a fat female Mandarin in this tank. I am looking for a small bright yellow tang to put in this tank for algae control. I will also get a male Mandarin in the near future. All the fish are disease free, even with the stress of changing tank and cloudy water due to adding the sand bed.

I got a little better control of my algae. It is well on it way out after I added an abalone, a small yellow tang and about 5 snails. I also added 4 Royal Gramma and 5 peppermint shrimps. There is a horde of Stomatella and Strobus snails grew up from the tank and a large numbers of stars both the serpent stars with each of the arms about1.5-2 inches and many small strad that are less then 1/2 inches with think arms. I also added 6 of my clams back into the tank. One Crocea 4 Maxima and an Derassa.

isnt this a 30g cube? might be a bit overstocked, Id be worried about the water quality.

those little grammas are absolutely adorable though! Ive always been tempted to get one, but their tendency to get aggressive has always scared me off.
