Yellow leather coral question

hey guys. I purchased a yellow leather coral a couple days ago and I have a question. It's been open and happy most of the time during the day, and it's slowly pushing some polyps out so I think it's doing okay. But today I saw something weird. It's got a strange little hole right in the middle. I'm wondering what you guys think. It almost looks like a mouth on a mushroom coral but I know it's not. Ideas?

it could just be some debris..take a baster and blow it out and see what it looks like.....it dosent look bad....maybe just keep eye on it make sure it dont get any worse...

Usually a hole in the cap like that is a sign that it is budding off little baby leathers. I wouldn't worry about it unless tissue around the hole looks necrotic.

I would keep an out out for little babies popping up- especially around the stalk of the main leather.
