yellow shrooms

Love to see pics of that. I've only seen them once in person. Yellow with a little orange. They're gorgeous.

I saw one at a lfs before. I did not purchase it but wish i did. You can search my post about me looking for a yellow mushroom. I was told by members of my reef club that it was probably bleached. I believed this since the lfs had many green ones and only 1 yellow.

Haha then maybe siding purchased bleached corals. I don't believe he has them until I see proof

That's my guess, but still curious to see some pics, I love mushroom corals :)

Yes, they do exist and one of the few colors that I can actually say are rare. I owned several back in late 1998 and 1999 when I owned a loaded mushroom reef. I haven't seen one since then. What is often called yellow today, is nothing more than a muted pale orange polyp. I actually owned 3 half dollar size ricordea which were between a banana yellow and mustard yellow. I parted with them when I got into zoanthids. The yellow ricordea were highly suceptible to color shifting though. Where ever you place them, leave them. Good luck.
