Yellow spot on tang’s fin (I don’t think it’s ich)…

I posted this in the “new to the hobby” forum but figured this would be a good place to ask also (sorry for the double post).

I got this yellow tang yesterday. I immediately noticed this “yellow spot” on his pectoral fin when he went into the tank. His acclimation was VERY smooth and he is eating aggressively already (mysis, pellets, nori). He is getting along fine with his other tankmates. I was lucky to catch this photo that clearly shows the yellow spot. It does not look like the photos I’ve seen of ick. Just wondering if it’s something to be concerned about.

Its just a growth spot. It will go away with time.
