Yellow Stripe Maroon Clown acting funny...

<b>I recently bought a yellow stripe maroon clown from a local pet store. When I bought her home all she does is swim on top near the surface... Doesn't really swim around the tank at all. I notice she swims to the top corner and swims sideways the whole day. I have had her for a month now. I have gone to other local saltwater shops and see that their maroon are very active. Mine isn't. Mine is about 1 1/4 inch big . Water is at 8.3 temp is at constant 76 to 78 <br><br> <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/ohhmickaay/saltwater/Cimg2483.jpg">

What are your other parameters. Could likely be a water quality issue.

I took my water to get it tested at the local shop which they usually do for free. He said Nitrate and Ammonia and Nitrite levels are all safe. I also notice some white/clear stuff that growing on the rocks. Iono what that is. If you look at the top left corner of the picture u can see it on the rock. The pet shop guy told me it could be ich. So i Treated and did a 30 percent water change. Iono if that could be effecting the fish at all? I didn't notice white spots on my clown.

She just sitting in a 10 gallon tank all by her self with a few live rocks.
