Yellow tang not doing well

I have a small yellow tang that I acquired about 6 weeks ago. I ran him through ttm and then kept him in quarantine for about 2 weeks and did a prazipro treatment. He has been happily in the 80 gallon display for the last 2 weeks eating well and grazing.

This morning I noticed he wasn't swimming about the tank which he normally does and was staying hidden. A couple hours later I noticed him on his side. I have put him in quarantine. I am no expert but I can't see anything visibly wrong.

I also have two clownfish, a chromis, a clown goby and a watchman goby all of which seem to be fine and healthy.

Ammonia and nitrite are 0 and nitrate is about 5.

My question is if I should treat him. I have some furan-2 and also some api general cure. Not knowing what is wrong I imagine this may not help but could it hurt?

I wouldn't treat with anything being the fish is already in a weakened state. I personally have never had a fish lay on its side and recover.

Usually from what ive been informed, tangs do well in tanks of 150 or greater (they like to have room to swim around) however i would just keep an eye on him and see what happens.

Unfortunately he died during the night. Really wierd how quick it came on. All my other fish are still doing great. Wish I had some idea what it was.

In the future you should QT fish for 4-6 weeks minimum, closer to 8 is better. 2 weeks is barely long enough to do two prazi treatments, and it can take up to 30 days for ich to show itself
