Yellow Tang Question

After 30 years of this hobby fresh and salt I am seeing something I have not seen. I have an 11 year old tang that started in my 150 and was transferred to a 210g. The transfer took place 14 months ago. Tanks is stable.
Fish is hanging in corners swimming is down to a minimum.
When food is introduced to tank he pops up like yippee food he swims out but does not eat. Nori no longer seems to give him chubby.
Age & Death?
I know life spans vary and have heard captive Yellows maybe 15 years?
Just checking in.

Sounds like it man. I'm sure it had a good life for the last 11 years. Congrats on keeping it healthy and happy for more than a decade.

I had fish tank with Tangs and Angels where the fish started acting weird "darting around"all of the sudden and found out that I had a heater leaking electricity. May be worth checking.

Earlier post from January. Like watching my mom pass with Alzheimer's.
Yellow is still going.
He was a freak from early on losing a major portion of his dorsal.
At 12 years old his eating has stopped to limited.
Isolation, thinking, seemingly lost.
Hmmm if watched this before.
A good life was had curious how long this will go.
