I bought a Yellow Tang on Saturday and he died yesterday afternoon and I don't know why.
My tank has been set up for 4 1/2 months (75gal with 20 gal sump), and the Tang was the first fish I had added to the tank. All my water parameters are excellent. He darted out from the rocks and then tried to jump out of the tank and then started swimming circles, loops around the top of the tank. He did not appear to have any visible injuries and was acting fine when the lights first came on yesterday morning. Does anyone have any idea? I have been in the hobby for about 15 years, I moved over the summer so I had to start from scratch. This has puzzled me because the only time I have lost a tang is when we lost power one winter for a couple of days.
