Yellow Tang

I have a yellow tang that turns white on his back half.
it only does this every so often,not all the time.
there is 2 more yellow tangs in the system and they dont have this effect at all

any ideas?

May be stress. I have also seen yellow tangs that are blochie white and/or black. Most likely his natural coloration that comes out with "emotional" changes

My yellow has a horizontal white band down his side only when the lights are off.

When the lights are off all my yellows have a brown band with a white stripe in it. This is just on their side. I thought all yellow tangs have it, have they not?

I've seen some that don't appear to. Mine does.
