Yellow tang

I have a Yellow tang that i bought three weeks ago he has been in the QT since and doing well untill today. He has red bloches on him witch appear to be a bacterial infection.
Does any one have any recommendations for treatment or medication would be best to treat him with.

copper dose ,,, there are several different out there for that
look at Salty or Aquatic Tech for them

I know that water quality or changes in levels also causes red splotches on yellows....test your levels

My tang had it when I first started..but improved with water quality checks..

I checked my water and found that my ammonia level is up 0.25 ppm doing a 20% water change. thanks everybody for your help.
