So last night I added two helfrichs band a mandarin to my tank. I have a yellow watchman and a black capped basslet. The black cap was staking his territory from the helfrichs and a few times scares them into the ywg burrow. Then it came out and so did the goby came our. The helfrichs slept in places away from the goby over night and today. My ywg is normally always out but wasn't today. The pistol shrimp came out for food but my ywg iis saw him poke his head out once and not again all day not even during feeding times. I red my fish last night when I put the new ones in and the goby looked stuffed to the gills lol. I t was an extra feeding. Am I being an over worried parent or do I have nothing to worry about. The helfrichs aren't swimming near his cave opening either. Please let me know guys.

wow... typing this message via my droid x sucks i sound like a moron... let me retry this...

So last night I bought a pair of helfrich firefish and a mandarin dragonet. I already have in my tank a black capped basslet and a YWG with a tiger pistol shrimp. The YWG has like 2 caves but stays mainly at one of them. I have had him for about 3 weeks and hes always out and has actually grown since I originally got him. Last night the black capped basslet was staking his territory from the helfrichs and twice one shot into the YWG cave and than came out and so did the YWG and than he flared his mouth out them. I fed my tank before I put the fish in like I always do and have always been told to do when adding new fish to make sure the older fish don't get ****ed or something. Anyways the helfrichs slept not in the basslets territory or in the ywg main cave. the smaller helfrich slept under a rock near the YWG secondary cave and the other slept on the otherside of the tank near my anemone under a rock. So today my YWG hasn't really been out at all even during feeds (flake and shrimp) he is normally always out in front and always goes out for food and even swims up to get flake esp he loves the flake! Today the cave s still open and the pistol shrimp came out to eat a little flake and I saw the YWG poke his head out for a brief second and than he's been in hiding all day long. I don't know what yo make of this. My goby looked very full last night when i added the other fish because there was an extra feeding for the day. Could he be too full and decide to take a hibernation day? lol. Also today the helfrichs were swimming in their own zone not infront of the YWG cave entrance and the other fish were out and about swimming and the black capped wasn't as aggressive as he was last night when i introduced the fish. LOL everyone has left the dragonet alone and I saw him eating tigger pods and small copepods off my rocks all night and morning!!!!!!!

I am just worried something more could be going on. He's like one of my favorite fish because he's so yellow and I love the symbiotic relationship he has with the YWG.
