Yellow watchman goby

Got him about three weeks ago. He lost all his color but still seems to be doing fine. All I feed him is brine shrimp (frozen) I don't think it's doing it for him nutrition wise. Any ideas?

Brine has no nutritional value. Mix in some frozen mysid and slowly phase out the brine. It should color back up once it's off the brine.

Mine pair will eat anything, even dry pellets. Just try squirting a little in front of its home.

I'd definitely feed it other food. Try some mysis, mine love it, but they eat flakes, pellets, whatever I throw in there.

They will eat pretty much anything, so change the diet as others suggest. But keep in mind that some naturally change from yellow to gray. I've had mine for almost two years and it's still yellow.

Agreed about the brine being poor in nutrition. Flake food likely has more nutritional value. I have had a YWG for five years that eats only prepared foods (NLS pellets, and Formula 1 flake food).
