In my 200 LPS tank I have four pistol shrimp (alpheus) and four shrimp gobies including a yellow watchman. The pistol shrimp have paired off and live in two distinct locations on each side of the tank. The gobies immediately (within a day) found the pistol shrimp so do not worry about that. The clicking is sporadic but very occasional as opposed to all of the time. Yes, the shrimp are real bulldozers and move sand around. I also recommend having some empty shells for them as they use them for their tunnels infrastructure. Pretty interesting to watch this symbiotic activity (technically it is called mutualism). Highly recommended if you enjoy animal behavior.
