That's not much of a recommendation. Can you find out what kind of wrasse it is? There is a difference between chrysus and leucoxanthus, as reflected in the comments here.my fish guy told me this was basically a 6 line with no lines and im sketchy about trying one. just got rid of the 6 line and dont want to go through that again.
Yellow Wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus) this is the one i want but my guy has me 2nd guessing. That's not much of a recommendation. Can you find out what kind of wrasse it is? There is a difference between chrysus and leucoxanthus, as reflected in the comments here.
It's risky but if you're going to try it add the wrasse to a shrimp tank and not a shrimp to a wrass tank
so, can anyone suggest a wrasse that would be "shrimp safe" that has some darker colors in it? Really any fish would be a good suggestion... Keep in mind right now i have 2 percula clowns, i want some sort of a goby/pistol shrimp combo, and i will eventually be gettting a flame angel (since this fish is one of the main reasons i got into saltwater in the first place! I am looking for something with some color that will catch peoples eyes.. trying to stay away from reds though. i guess i should also state that my tank is a standard 55 gal. Oh yeah... I have to keep it relatively inexpensive... Like in the 50$ or less range.
