I was looking for ways to put some yellow in my tank. I have decided that zoa's would be the way. So let's see some pics of your yellow ones. The brighter the better. Thanks in advance.

yellow zoas are not offered that offten. i see all the time with online venders say that they are yellow when they are really greenish yellow. There are a couple of yellows on www.zoaid.com . There is a vender that had a couple of true yellow zoas recently but i can't find that site. Maybe i wil find it in a few minutes. Ben

ditto with that the other guy just said. REALLY hard to find & usually the ones offered are lime green not really yellow at all. It took me 5 years to find my yellows.

Unless you like colonial polyps I'd start looking at other yellow corals.

Here are mine, The green skirts morph more yellow if I put them up higher in the tank, but I like both colors :)

Thanks, I get most of my stuff local at this LFS I know the owner and she get me good deals and good trades. They had two frags of these I picked up both because I had never seen yellow like that....It didn't cost me anything for the frags but some large frags of GSPs....Can't beat that.

Let's see some more yellows......

Az, what lfs was that? I'm in the kzoo area occasionally and would like to stop in sometime if they carry nice zoos (and other stuff).

Azurel, what sort of lights do you keep those under? I love them and wonder if they would stay that color in my system.

I still haven't found the "perfect" yellow zoas for my tank either. I know there are some beautiful palys that are truly yellow though. The best yellows I've found are the Lemon Lime Burst on zoaid.com.

I have no idea what these are called, but I love how fast they grow. :p

Azurel, yours are stunning. :)

jreimer, for some reason that link didn't take me to pictures but instead to a listing of usernames and e-mail addresses.

I have a few with yellow in them, like these:

But these, these are yellow:

But let me tell you, those yellow ones grow slow! Painfully slow in fact.
