They grow to be about 16" long, are a schooling fish, but seem to do okay alone.

do you know how to sex them? and is a 300 g tank big enough for three?

If you have a 300 gallon, 8' long tank they might be okay, though I've been told that they really should be in large (think Aquarium size)tanks. They're fast swimmers and very active.
