I have a lg toadstool that has a long stalk on it. The last severeal days it hasn't stood up to the light, It wants to lay over. Do these things just get to big so they do this or does it need more flow. I have been thinking about fragging it but I'm not sure about that.

I know I need more flow. Right now I'm running two MJ900 in tank and a Eheim 1260 return. My new hydors #3s came in today but they were way to much flow for softies and LPS. Other than to much flow they were great. I reordered 1 #1 and 2 #1's. We'll see what happens with the toadstool then.

why it the #4 to much flow for softies I have 3 #4 in my tank with no problems plus 1,200 GPH on my return pump.

That is 4,800 GPH in my setup.

I have a 55 gallon with a return of about 600 gph.. I put a #4 in and my LPS aren't happy.. They don't fully extend..

how about if your leather is laying over and you notice little cut marks on him is there an ything that could bother a leather?

They will acclimate to the flow! We are not even close to the flow on the reef. I have a 45x turnover in my tank with everything from clams to leathers and LPS. Placement is very important with the LPS but the leathers will acclimate. My guess on your problem would too little flow! You will be unhappy with the flow from the smaller Korallia's. In a 120(?) you would need at least 2 K4's (and i would use 4--pointing tward eachother) JMO
