yet another bull....

So I am sitting in my living room marvelling at just how fiercly the wind is blowing. The trees are whipping side to side and the house creaking. I was toying with my camera and the new fisheye lens I got thinking about doing some timelapse of the trees. Then I hear this sound, kind of like the whimper or gutteral grunt a moose makes. I get up and look out my window and see the biggest bull I've seen all year walking across my backyard! I took these thru a dirty window...and only got one or two shots off after I changed lenses and then he was gone...

That's awesome! Looks like the fisheye is doing a pretty good job.

Have you ever used an 85 f/1.2 for nature by chance? I figure you may have some experience with it and maybe not. I thought with the very large aperture you can get some pretty cool effects with flowers/trees/grass etc. Or even shooting a moose (or other animals) from fairly close distance and cropping into it later.

I really want to buy this lens but honestly most of what I want to do with my camera is what you, beerguy, and many others do. Nature photography!

I really like your shots and the scenery you have (you have moose in your backyard)!

Keep it up and post more. I enjoy Alaska so much and I've never visited there. :D

Wish I had cool stuff like that walking though my back yard. All I have is Lizards, tons of bugs and mockingbirds. Great pics
