You guys want to hear a story

so it all starts on wednesday night. I go into work and my coworker/ backstabber/dumb girl tells me something to do. I tell her no and she says she'll fire me. Thats when i find out that this girl got the promotion, only because she stabbed me in the back and me being a nice guy let it slide thinking she would get caught. This puts me in a terrible mood for quite some time.
Friday rolls around and its a beautiful day, so full of energy i go to work again and have an ok day. i head out to the parking lot after work to notice my car keys wont fit the ignition. After investigating i decide that someone tried to steal my car. The police come and tell me that there is nothing to go on and they will never be able to catch the suspect. I get the locksmith to clean my ignition and change my keys for me. This cost $85 and insurance tells me that they wont pay because i have a $400 deductable. So there is my pitty party and thanks for listening. the only good part to the story is that last night i went to pops and saw an amazing pink floyd tribute.
 
I would suggest that you drown your sorrows Thursday night at pizza night.:D

After that, go try to steal your backstabbing co-workers car and mess up the ignition while doing it.:D
 
well i think i may work thursday night. Im so ****ed i may call off and have a free night. Oh and while losing the promotion i also had my hours cut back. so next paycheck covers the necesities and thats it, no fish stuff this week.

well we were both goin for the promotion and she was tellin the boss how i would be rude to customers and how i didnt do things right, that kinda stuff.
i thought that the boss would see through this and i thought the manager thought i was a good worker. I honestly thought that her talkin bad about me would hurt her instead of help her
 
kurt i am goin to take the skimmer from ya, but i have to wait to see if i work sunday, if not i can get it then.
 
Dont take this wrong, but welcome to the real world. The boss probably only sees what she allows him to see. Im sorry that it happened but maybe its good it happened now instead of later for a real important position. If you re-read your post, you used the words "I thought" three times. Maybe next time speak up and let those in power know what you think they should know

I agree with stlouisguy but make sure you do it in a professional manner. I know he wasn't implying to do what she was doing but I wanted to make sure you stick to who you are, don't stoop to her level. I agree...speak up and tell them why you are the best person for the job, not why she's not. Some people will see through that junk, some won't.

BTW- What do you do?
 
ya i know this is the real world, but it just irritates me. i work at the mall for the next year and a half. im still finishing my degree.
 
Maybe we could all get togather and send letter's complaining about how rude she is. Coming from different area's they "probably" wouldn't catch on. But if they do you're def. out! :lol:
