My neighbour is a professional photographer ,and i asked him to take a shot of our living room where our tanks are.He said "sure".I didn't want anything but a quick shot of the room, 3 hours later the "stage"was set and the lites were up and this is what he gave us.

looking good!! Chris and Barb!! and your little JRT too!!! You have done nice work remodeling the house around your tank setup. I guess the additition is done by now. Is there a tanking going in the new room too? I see you havent added the access doors above the 180 on the hall side yet. Is that in the future?

You do nice work Chris. I wish i was as good about renovating.

The tanks are looking good!

thanks Ken, the addition is done and we will be putting a seahorse tank in there but i have to finish paint the outside of the house then build a deck, then im allowed to have another tank. and i will be adding doors on the hall side but i dont know when

Thats good Chris. theres always something to do. I was out today cleaning up and grinding up into mulch a bunch of tree pruning i have been doing. too many trees in the yard. so I'm taking some down. I dropped a 50 foot sweet gum 2 weeks ago. More to go. and as soon as i get caught up on some shrubery pruning i can start digging a hole for a koi pond too. I took down the old leaky pool, and thats about where the pond will go. i just started laying out the outline with a hose tonight. then dig, dig dig... I have 4 9 inch koi from last summer, and 6 new fry in a 110 tub out back right now, and they need a new home.

WOW! He certainly is a professional if he can get such great lighting balance!

PS: I may have to steal your Jack. ;)

Wow! Those do look really nice!

Did he use a lot of extra light in the room to balance out the lights in the tanks?

So does that mean we'll be seeing you in a magazine soon :p

No magazines, i just want a shot of the room.

he brought in 6-750watt stage lights.

glad to see he had the necessary tools for the job

So, what you're saying is that all I need to get a better shot of my tank is 4500 watts of light :D - well, I guess that's if I want a shot of the room surrounding the tank - and, let's face it - your room looks nice - mine, I'm a bachelor

Heehehehe.. I thought the same thing! Just some ramshackle ikea furniture in my condo and then the tank. Who wants to see that? Not even me! ;)

LOL and to think I have to use electric for my dishwasher.

Now if I could only talk my landlord into the idea????

I mean I'd hate to see DP&L go out of business (severe sarcasm).

When you open a new LFS in Philly and try to post about it in a club forum - especially one that is as closely watched as the Philly forum :D
